Inter Group Tournament

Lothian finished 2nd to Midlands in this year’s Inter Group tournament held at the Cockburn Centre on 28th October. The final was a very close match, with Lothian losing out 5-4. Previously in the group stages, Lothian had beaten Lanark 5-4 and North East 6-3.

The format of the event is that there are 5 matches in the Seniors age group (mens singles, womens singles, mens doubles, ladies doubles and mixed) with 4 matches in the Veterans age group (mens doubles, ladies doubles and 2 mixed doubles).

It was good to see some young Lothian players participate in this event as well as some of our more experienced players.
