Following on from the Under 13 and Under 17 events at the start of October, the Yonex East of Scotland Championships for the Under 15 and 19 age groups taking place on the 6th/7th November at the Jack Kane Centre. There was another strong entry for the event and lots of competitive matches throughout the weekend with some excellent semi finals and finals on the Sunday.
Lothian players were prominent in the latter stages of the tournament, particularly in the U15 age group where Deepti Vijayakumar won two titles. Other double winners over the course of weekend were Iona Muir and Lewis Smith, also in the under 15 age group.
